Hi! We’re Michael and Tanner, a couple on a journey to grow our family through surrogacy. We met in 2016, and after living together abroad, eventually settled in Winnipeg. Michael works as a children’s eye surgeon and Tanner is a stay-at-home dad.

In 2023, we welcomed our son thanks to an incredible surrogate. Though our first surrogate felt called to the journey only once, we remain hopeful that another generous woman is out there, ready to help us complete our family. Parenthood has been the greatest joy of our lives. Our home is filled with love, music, and laughter—Tanner has a music degree and is an avid home baker (even competing on The Great Canadian Baking Show). Michael has a passion for gardening, and we both love animals and spending time outdoors.
