As we search for the incredible woman who can help us complete our family, we wanted to take a moment to share a little more about each other, from the heart. We hope this helps you get to know us better and see just how much love we have to give.

Hey everyone, this is Michael, and I’d like to tell you about my husband, Tanner. Whether he’s filling our home with music or the smell of fresh-baked bread, Tanner is truly the centre of our family. He’s my partner, my best friend, and the most amazing father to our son.

One of Tanner’s most impressive accomplishments is being a finalist on The Great Canadian Baking Show! Watching him pour his heart into every bake showed me (and Canada!) just how dedicated, passionate, and talented he is. And as his official taste-tester, I’ve been one of the luckiest beneficiaries of his creativity in the kitchen.

But beyond his talents, what I love most about Tanner is his nurturing spirit. He creates a home filled with warmth, love, and tradition. He makes me—and everyone around him—feel grounded and cared for. Watching him be a stay-at-home dad to our son has been incredible, and I know without a doubt that he’s ready to open his heart to another child.

Hi there, this is Tanner, and I’d like to tell you about my husband, Michael. Yes, he’s a children’s eye surgeon and a researcher with a PhD, but beyond his impressive work, Michael is the most supportive and loving partner. He is the heart of our family.

What I admire most is Michael’s unwavering commitment to us. Despite his busy and sometimes demanding career, our family always comes first. His dedication has given me the priceless gift of being able to stay home with our son, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.

Michael finds peace on long walks and during our cherished afternoon teas—our favorite date activity. He has so much love to give, and I know he is beyond ready to welcome another little one into our family.
